Yes, she's outside as well....
...only we aren't. Rachael does love to go out into the yard frequently during the day. It's just the cold winter time and her foster family chooses not to follow her out there...but we thought we'd take this picture through the patio door glass to make sure everybody knows that it's not always snoozing time for Rachael.

The cutest girl
There is nothing cuter than little Rachael getting comfy, tucking in her paws under her chin and going to sleep. She's such a darling little girl.

Mushroom Chair Time!
A lot of IBR dogs have found out the great benefits of mushroom chairs. Rachael is no exception---she had no problem settling in for a cozy nap.

Merry Christmas!
Rachael has one special Christmas wish---that her own special family will come along soon. Meanwhile she woofs a "Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!" to everybody.

How far this little girl has come...
Rachael has come out of her shell. She's learned how to cuddle, she's not barking at neighborhood noises anymore and the good food she's on has filled in her coat and it's nice and shiny. Even her tail is getting a bit of feathering, which we never thought would happen.
This girl will capture your heart quietly and before you know it. She's got such cute little antics---such as how she raises her eyebrows, one-by-one, and looks from one person to the other. She's simply adorable.

Proud City Girl
Rachael was so happy to go on an Indianapolis Downtown Dog Walk this fall. She was a bit tense meeting the other dogs---just simply stayed away and we didn't make her meet and greet up close...
...once we got going though and walked into the city with all the tall buildings, Rachael visibly perked up and walked tall and proud, as if to say "I feel good here, I'm used to this." Of course Rachael will always need a good-sized yard to run in, but this girl sure isn't intimidated by the hustle and bustle of the city!!

Rachael at the IBR Birddog Balooza!
Rachael had a blast at Hammel Wood Dog Park, where the IBR reunion took place.
She loves to run and explore, like a typical birddog...
...but she's so good with recall. We had to just holler her name, without even knowing where she was in the big park, and Rachael came running without fail.

Rachael's fun day at Wauconda Dog Park!
Rachael was thrilled to be romping around on the vast fields.
Then she enjoyed hanging out with foster daddy by the picnic table and drinking some refreshing water.
Blissfully happy!

Ok, so I show off my teeth quite a bit...
...but what's wrong with that?
Here you can see Rachael's overbite---but it doesn't make her any
less cute, don't you think?

Lover Girl
Rachael is learning how to snuggle. She's really affectionate and encouragement is all she needs. Here she loves up on her foster daddy.
Rachael loves the couch, but doesn't mind the regular snooze on the floor neither.

Rachael discovers stuffies!
It was love at first sight---and squeak! Rachael LOVES stuffies and squeaks around at her heart's content.
And after hard playtime...you can conveniently snuggle up to the stuffy and snooze---PERFECT!
