How far this little girl has come...
Rachael has come out of her shell. She's learned how to cuddle, she's not barking at neighborhood noises anymore and the good food she's on has filled in her coat and it's nice and shiny. Even her tail is getting a bit of feathering, which we never thought would happen.
This girl will capture your heart quietly and before you know it. She's got such cute little antics---such as how she raises her eyebrows, one-by-one, and looks from one person to the other. She's simply adorable.

Proud City Girl
Rachael was so happy to go on an Indianapolis Downtown Dog Walk this fall. She was a bit tense meeting the other dogs---just simply stayed away and we didn't make her meet and greet up close...
...once we got going though and walked into the city with all the tall buildings, Rachael visibly perked up and walked tall and proud, as if to say "I feel good here, I'm used to this." Of course Rachael will always need a good-sized yard to run in, but this girl sure isn't intimidated by the hustle and bustle of the city!!

Rachael at the IBR Birddog Balooza!
Rachael had a blast at Hammel Wood Dog Park, where the IBR reunion took place.
She loves to run and explore, like a typical birddog...
...but she's so good with recall. We had to just holler her name, without even knowing where she was in the big park, and Rachael came running without fail.

Rachael's fun day at Wauconda Dog Park!
Rachael was thrilled to be romping around on the vast fields.
Then she enjoyed hanging out with foster daddy by the picnic table and drinking some refreshing water.
Blissfully happy!
